Real estate and construction

For us proximity to our customers is not just about geographical distance. It is about spending time together, understanding each customer's needs and customising services accordingly. In short – be service oriented.

For property construction, we are involved from the very beginning, when the foundations are laid. We inspect construction cranes, construction lifts, entrances, lifts, escalators, pressure vessels, refrigeration equipment and perform steel structure inspections on frames. The inspection includes non-destructive testing NDT of materials and welding performance.

We have expertise in EU rules and national regulations, and know what is necessary from the laying of the foundation stones to the completed construction and after the handover to the end user. We perform initial inspection, final inspection, verification, and periodic inspections.

DEKRA is a Notified Body for ATEX, PED, MD and the Lift Directive and accredited supervisory body with respect to Swedish regulations from the Work Environment Authority (Arbetsmiljöverket). The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (Myndigheten för samhällsskydd och beredskap), the Swedish Board of Housing, Building and Planning (Boverket), the Swedish National Police Board (Rikspolisstyrelsen), the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (Naturvårdsverket).
