Self-monitoring
A plant often contains items to be inspected, but where there are no legal requirements governing such matters. The owner of the plant can, through a risk analysis, identify the equipment that needs periodic inspection. For example, this could be working platforms or personal safety equipment. DEKRA Industrial carries out inspection of this type of equipment for the plant owner. Inspections are normally governed by the instructions specified by the manufacturer.
Inspection of contracted work
A special inspection is a check that the customer is entitled to for the plant as agreed in the contract documents. DEKRA Industrial, as an independent party, can examine and assess the rules for compliance in the contract.
